The Power of Gratitude

The Power of Gratitude

At this time of the year, our hearts tend to be more open…

In my case, over the last years in December, I’ve noticed that I experience my emoticons more subtly, but also more intensely, which seems to be a paradox.

It’s as if the experiences were lived more authentically, as if the “door” of the heart was more open, letting the feelings in and out, without filters, without barriers.

And, at the same time, this season invites us to connect more, to share more, to cultivate more heart feelings: care, kindness, love, compassion, peace and joy.

I am well aware that it’s not always easy to experience these feelings, especially when we’re going through challenging times.

When life challenges me, there is something truly helpful that gives me strength, courage, energy, and resilience to keep going: to dedicate a few moments to acknowledge, to appreciate the wonderful people and things that are a part of my life.

This deep feeling of gratitude fills my heart, overriding the feelings of fear, anxiety, frustration, sadness…

Exactly a year ago, this feeling of gratitude was like an anchor, a powerful beacon that gave me more strength to deal with the fear of losing a very important person of my life.

Today, I feel even more grateful that this person continues to fully live her life and, as a result, that she continues to be a part of my life. I am grateful for Life!

If life is challenging for you at the moment, remember that there are many things that we take for granted that can change in the blink of an eye… The intention is not to generate feelings of fear of that possibility… the intention is that you to feel more grateful, that you truly appreciate having “that” in your life.

I truly believe that this feeling will help to comfort your heart.

In the same way, I would like to express my gratitude to you, acknowledging you, and thanking you for sharing this path alongside me.

Last but not least, I would like to wish you, from the bottom of my heart, a Merry Christmas and a New Year with many moments of Peace, Love, Joy… and Gratitude.
